Photo: President Gloria Arroyo Hosts Iftar Dinner


President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, right, joins the Muslim community in breaking the day’s feast for the Ramadan season by recently hosting an Iftar Dinner at the Malacanang Palace. Ramadan is a time of worship and contemplation in Islam wherein Muslims fast during daylight hours and breaks the fast at sun set also known as Iftar. The event was organized by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAP) Secy.
