Cruise Ship Albatros Visits Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / 09 Feb) – A Norwegian cruise ship with more than 800 European tourists arrived in the southern Filipino port city of Zamboanga on Friday as part of its world tour.

The MS Albatros arrived under strict security with hundreds of soldiers and policemen guarding every group of holiday-makers who toured the city for several hours.

Even local journalists were provided with accreditation cards to be able to cover the arrival of the ship. The tourists visited several historical spots in Zamboanga.

The mayor of Zamboanga, Celso Lobregat, led officials in welcoming the visitors. The ship left Zamboanga later in the day. (Mindanao Examiner)
