ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / 22 Mar) – Two government militias were killed in ambush in the southern Filipino island of Basilan, the military reported on Thursday.
It said the two were killed on Tuesday after they were attacked near the village of Manaul in Sumisip town.
The two were on a motorcycle heading for their base when a man, armed with automatic rifle, attacked them. The military suspect the attack had something to do with family feud or grudge. (Mindanao Examiner)
