MANILA (Mindanao Examiner / Mar) - May mas matibay na ngayong batayan ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) upang muling maideklarang ilegal ang Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA).
"We might as well illegalized the Communist Party of the Philippines since they admit that they underground anyway or most of them are underground, there must be no armed threat to the existence of the democratic government, so are we being to militaristic about it when we want them to be declared illegal?" ani Esperon.
"We simply want that the terroristic acts of the New People's Army against the people must be stopped and if it is not stopped then it must at least be declared illegal and condemned by organizations that claim to be legal such as Bayan Muna, why cannot they condemn the violence of the NPA? Are they saying that they are for the violent acts of the rebel groups? dagdag ng military chief.
"We welcome all investigations… I don't think we will be called, if they come here we will give our statement," ani Esperon. (Juley Reyes)
