DAVAO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / 08 Jun) – A pregnant woman killed herself after quarreling with her boyfriend inside a Philippine military base in Baganga town in Davao Oriental province, police said.
Police said the woman’s boyfriend is a member of the Army’s 57th Infantry Battalion and is being investigated over her death. The 27-year old woman allegedly hanged herself inside a thatched house on Thursday, police said.
Investigators said they have found a suicide letter apparently written by the woman before she killed herself.
The woman, police said, wrote in her letter that she will kill herself because she and her boyfriend were frequently quarrelling over a lot of reasons lately. (Romy Bwaga)
