OPINION

Save Malacañang by Karib J. Muhalli

To implicate the administration Arroyo in the ZTE deal payoff is hardly to come about. This is what the administration camp may think right now.

But the Administration is not there to wash hand off the recent crisis with Atty. Benjamin Abalos, then chief of the national polls body under the Executive Branch, being the primary representative of the country party to the contract with the Chinese ZTE Corp. on the National Broadband Network project.

And the mention of the name and involvement of the First Gentleman in the ZTE contract is something sounds Malacañang is behind the controversy. Yes, the synchronized events of resignation of Abalos from Comelec post and the termination of President Gloria Macapgal-Arroyo of the contract with ZTE will not deter the Senate from conducting the Senate inquiry of the issues.

Like Hello Garci scam on alleged polls rig involving President Arroyo, this controversy will just end up nothing but a waste of times and money of the taxpayers, our money. Our Laws is not inutile per se.

The majority lawmakers, the sycophant lawyers, the wealthy tycoons and the influential personalities are always there tend to divert the laws to their side. Worse, these thugs even make the courts their proper places for them to show and express their art of lie and the art of truth. And their work of wickedness is recurrent.

Ours is a nation of curse with unstoppable and rampant graft and corruption, a personality syndromes that only Angel of Death can reform, which means when they’re all dead.
