DAVAO CITY, Philippines (Mindanao Examiner / August 25, 2008) – Davao City deputy mayor Sarah Duterte said the local government would concentrate its development and infrastructure projects in other parts of the metropolis.
Duterte said House Speaker Prospero Nograles has poured projects in the city’s Firsty District and that she would put more efforts in other parts of Davao – the Second and Third Districts.
Nograles has allocated more than P400 million in various development projects for the First District where he belongs.
“I thank vice mayor Duterte for recognizing the projects that the Speaker has poured in for the First District,” the solon’s son and chief aide, lawyer Karlo Nograles said.
“I am certain we all share in the same dreams for the people of our beloved city,” he said. (Romy Bwaga)
