DAVAO CITY, Philippines (Mindanao Examiner / August 21, 2008) – Mindanao homeowners have sought the help of House Speaker Prospero Nograles against possible foreclosure of their houses and estate.
Nograles recently sponsored a forum in Davao City to allow dialogues between homeowners and mortgage firms.
Homeowners expressed fear that they would lose their assets should mortgage firms suddenly foreclose their contracts because of faulty in payments despite promissory notes.
Lawyer Karlo Nograles, the solon’s son and chief of staff, the problems of the house owners were being addressed. (Romy Bwaga)
