MANILA, Philippines (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 16, 2009) – A British national was found inside his rented apartment in the town of Calumpit in Bulacan province outside the Philippine capital, reports said Monday.
The 63-year old Joseph Bonnici was naked when found Sunday by the police inside the bathroom, according to a report by the television network ABS-CBN.
A neighbor said he called the police after noting that Bonnici had not been leaving his apartment. Police said cardiac arrest might have caused Bonnici's death.
It said Bonnici had a British passport with address in Flat 1, 24, Great Windmill St., England, London. Bonnici's valuables and other important documents including passport, alien registration certificate, and driver’s license were found intact by the police. (ABS-CBN)
