DAVAO CITY, Philippines – Scores of well-wishers continue to greet Karlo Nograles who recently celebrated his 33rd birthday in Davao City.
Nograles, a lawyer by profession and son and also chief of staff of House Speaker Prospero Nograles, thanked all who continue to support him. The young Nograles celebrated his birthday with supporters, well-wishers and family members and relatives at simple bash at Felis Resort in the village of Matina Aplaya last week.
Majority of those who attended the party praised the lawyer and his father for their many humanitarian programs in Davao City’s 1st District. One villager gifted Nograles with a basket of fruits and promised to support his political plan.
Nograles is said to be eyeing to replace his father as congressman in the 1st District. The elder Nograles, who is also noted lawyer, is on his third and last term.
Many supporters of the father and son tandem praised them for their various projects – from health care to education and infrastructure - that benefited tens of thousands of their constituents.
