Fire eats up bungalow in Kidapawan City

KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines (Mindanao Examiner / November 16, 2009) – A fire broke out at a neighborhood in the southern Philippine city of Kidapawan, but authorities said there were no reports of casualties or injuries.

An estimated one million pesos in properties were destroyed in the weekend fire that started from the bungalow of former Kidapawan agriculturist Amada Gomez.

The Bureau of Fire and Protection said it is still investigating the cause of the fire. (Geo Solmerano)
