In commemoration of Earth Day, environmental activists in Davao City in Mindanao stage a protest rally against the proposed Aboitiz’s 300 MW coal- fired power plant. Anti-coal power groups PANALIPDAN and 'NO TO COAL' also led a fluvial parade in and called on the public to reject the the proposal, saying, the coal plant will bring pollution to Davao City and threatened the environment.
