Sarangani villagers benefit from medical mission

SARANGANI, Philippines (Mindanao Examiner / Sept. 17, 2011) – More than 500 people have benefited from a medical mission in the southern Philippine province of Sarangani, local officials said Saturday.

Officials said the medical mission was held Friday in the town of Alabel by employees of Southern Philippines Power Corporation (SPPC).

The medical mission was a joint project of the SPPC and the Sarangani provincial government, General Santos Doctors Hospital, Conrado and Ladislawa Alcantara Foundation Inc., the local police and the Barangay Council of Maribulan. (With report from Cocoy Sexcion)
