Free Computer and Internet Training For Entrepreneurs

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Lowell Vallecer / 08 Jun) The Technology and Training Component (TTC) of the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Core Group has scheduled a one-day training on Computer Fundamentals and Internet Access for SMEs for FREE at the National Computer Center Regional Office 9 located at the SRT Building, Tumaga Highway in Zamboanga City.
The TTC is headed by DOST with DTI, NCC, TESDA, DOLE, DOH, DA, DAR and EMD-DENR as members. The TTC group is converging its resources to promote the development of SMEs region-wide.

There are two batches of trainings which are strictly on a first-come-first-serve basis. The TTC criteria on selecting the first priority SMEs are those which attended the August 25, 2005 SME Dialogue in Zamboanga City.
The second priority are the SMEs which were not able to join the dialogue but are included in the 720 SME database listing region-wide. The training can accommodate 12 SMEs per batch only. The schedule of trainings are as follows: 1st Batch -- 12 SMEs on June 16; 2nd Batch -- 12 SMEs on June 19.
