Science and Technology Tickle Interests of Luzon Scribes

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, Luzon (Dino Balabo / 22 Jun) "Fired up," these are two words that best described the feelings of every participants in the weekend workshop on science and technology and biotechnology reportage held at the Subic Bay Freeport.
Biotechnology is a general category that has applications in pharmacology, medicine, agriculture, and many other fields.
The two-day seminar-workshop was attended by more than 30 participants, mostly writers for national dailies and weekly newspapers in Central Luzon, and information officers of attached agencies of the Department of Agriculture. (Read more)
