Because of the power crisis the Philippines is experiencing, elementary graduating student Eushuaia May Casuse does her homework in the dark with only a piece of candle to illuminate her notes inside their house in Cotabato City in Mindanao. The Department of Energy says it expects power outage in many areas with some lasting for as long as 8 hours in Mindanao and this will continue until June, as the El Niño phenomenon dried up water supplies in the country.
