Patricia Recto Tumang.
MANILA, Philippines - Patricia Recto Tumang is appointed managing editor of adobo magazine, replacing Cynthia Dayco, who has decided to pursue endeavors outside of advertising and trade publishing.
Patricia comes with over six years experience in magazine publishing, having worked as an editor with various titles in the U.S. and the Philippines, including Hyphen, a magazine about Asian America for the culturally and politically savvy, and most recently, Contemporary Art Philippines.
Angel Guerrero, adobo’s Editor-in-Chief, says, “I had to find someone who could help move adobo to the next level and I found it in Patricia. Our ways of working will be more streamlined and efficient with Patricia's management and experience as she will be working closely with the editorial team and as part of management with me.”
