MANILA, Philippines (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 29, 2010) – A package bomb sent to a woman on Wednesday exploded inside her house in the Philippine city of Taguig killing her instantly, reports said on Wednesday.
It said the blast late Tuesday also wounded the woman’s husband and child.
It was not immediately what type of explosive was used in the attack, but police claimed the woman, Yvonne Chua, was only a house maker. Her husband, Louie, and son Benson, were rushed by neighbors to hospital.
