ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 6, 2011) – A family in Zamboanga City in Mindanao got the shock of their life after a worm came out from a bathroom faucet.
The red parasite which resembles an earthworm was recovered inside a pale over the weekend. The discovery of the worm prompted the family to resort to bottled mineral water for their consumption.
Family members said the water sometimes turns into dark or muddy color especially after a typhoon or flood. The Zamboanga City Water District supplies potable water to large part of the city. (Mindanao Examiner)
