ILIGAN CITY, Philippines (Mindanao Examiner / Mar. 28, 2011) – A moderate quake shook parts of the southern Philippine island of Mindanao on Monday, but there have been no reports of injuries or damage to structure.
The US Geological Survey said the quake was located 55 kilometers from Butuan and Cagayan de Oro cities in the northern part of the island.
It said the magnitude 4.5 quake was traced about 37.1 kilometers deep and struck at around 1:30 p.m. at the epicenter. (Mindanao Examiner)
