Pinay Mom Takes Off With California Daughter, Cops Say

For more than a decade, California authorities have searched for Brittany Herrell who was last seen November 9, 1993. According to officials, Brittany's parents were going through a separation and custody issues in the early nineties. Unfortunately, cops say, Brittany became a pawn in their heated custody battle.

Police say Brittany's parents, Issa and Kirk Herrell, separated in 1993. Shortly after their separation, Issa Herrell left Pleasanton, CA and headed with Brittany to Southern California where she had family.
Soon, Issa had legal papers filed giving her temporary custody of Brittany. Fearing that his estranged wife would flee the U.S. to her native Philippines, Kirk filed court papers to gain parental and custody rights of Brittany.

But, cops say when California authorities tried to serve those papers to Issa Herrell, she had already fled. Issa Herrell has now been charged with child abduction and false imprisonment in connection with Brittany's disappearance.

Despite the diligent efforts of law enforcement, the case of Brittany Herrell has gone cold. Now, with the help of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the U.S. Postal Service and ADVO, a company that specializes in finding customers through direct mailings, Brittany will be featured on a Have You Seen Me? card.
The cards will hit 85 million homes across the U.S. and police are hoping that someone may have seen Brittany Herrell and her mother, Issa.(Brittany Herrell America's Most Wanted - Washington,DC,USA)
