Editorial: The Politicians In Banana Republic

With the elections in Banana Republic fast approaching, I can imagine how traditional politicians will use government money to finance their candidacy. I can see politicians using the Health Cards for their own advantage, and of course, their names and even their faces are printed on the cards so the people will remember them come Election Day.

The Health Cards were also used in the past elections by the President of the Banana Republic, and those who opposed the leader's use of the cards are also doing the same thing now.

I noticed this early that more and more road infra and other so-called development projects in the Banana Republic. I can see giant billboards of politicians and signs praising themselves all over the Banana Republic, and even a simple health slogan, I can see their photos.

Their photos and news stories are on the Banana papers as if they are ads themselves, see what bribes can do.

Even in the islands near the Banana Republic, politicians are also doing the same thing, of course more shamelessly. They also have guns and goons and gold, and they will use these to win the elections, just as they did in the past. Snakes are wrapping around the golden tree and like their leader, who won because of cheating and money, the serpents are to follow the same in the elections next year.

So what else is new in the Banana Republic, we have dirty and greedy politicians! Maybe time will come, although not tomorrow, that the Banana Republic will have a good leader, then its people will be happy and eat a lot of bananas!
