DAVAO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / 02 Jul) – A Filipino man landed in hospital with a broken back after he fell several feet from a tree while watching a group of girls bathing in a river in the southern resort island, police said.
Police said the 48-year voyeur was seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital on Samal island.
It said Alfredo Sugayon was peeping at the naked girls when he lost his balance and fell down from the tree. His scream for help had alerted the girls who later called the police to report about the incident.
Police did not say whether the girls would file against the man, but the news spread like wild fire on the island and now villagers have threatened to break his bones for good once he is out of the hospital. (Romy Bwaga)
