Photo: Filipino activists hold anti-Arroyo protest in Davao City


Members of the progressive group Bagong Alyansang Makabayan stage a rally Friday, December 5, 2008 in Davao City in the southern Philippines to protest Friday the Arroyo-backed proposal to change the Constitution. The group slammed the proposed amendment granting foreign investors 100% control and ownership of the country's natural resources, industries, and public utilities and the extension of President Gloria Arroyo's term beyond 2010 by her allies in Congress.
