Cebu Pacific offers more domestic flights, cheapest fares

MANILA, Philippines (Mindanao Examiner / May 18, 2011) - The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (CEB) on Wednesday said it will increase domestic flights this year as part of its commitment to promote tourism and at the same time offer cheap fares to travelers.

It is also expecting the delivery of 3 more brand-new Airbus A320 aircrafts in October, officials said.

“This is in line with CEB’s continued commitment to promote tourism and economy in the destinations it flies to. Foreign and local travelers can book CEB’s lowest fares to explore the Philippines’ top beaches and diving sites, and attend the country’s most popular fiestas,” Candice Iyog, CEB Vice President for Marketing and Distribution, said in a statement sent to the Mindanao Examiner.

“We are offering the most flights and the lowest fares to Cebu and Davao, two key cities in the Visayas and Mindanao, compared to any other airline. Tourists will have faster, easier access to the most extensive route network in the country,” she added.

With this flight increases, CEB will also continue to have the most flights to popular tourist destinations such as Boracay, Coron, Dumaguete and Cagayan de Oro in central and southern Philippines.

Thanks for sharing this one. If you guys are interested for cool beaches you can go to Boracay, but if you guys want to have adventures come and visit here in Cagayan de Oro where you can have water rafting and the longest zip line in Asia.
