GENERAL SANTOS CITY (Mindanao Examiner / 04 Nov) - A moderate earthquake shook the southern Philippine port city of General Santos on Saturday, but there were no reports of damage or injuries, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
It said the epicenter of the quake, measuring 5.4 in the Richter Scale, was traced about 171 km east-southeast of General Santos (5.927°N, 126.125°E).
An earthquake alert by the U.S. Geological Survey said the temblor occured at around 2.19 p.m. (local time).Philippine authorities reported no damage or injuries. (Mindanao Examiner)
