Boy Electrocuted In School In Southern RP

DAVAO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / 11 Jun) – Police is investigating Monday the death of a boy who was electrocuted after climbing a school fence in the southern Philippines.

Police said the 12-year old boy, a sixth grader, died after climbing the fence in Tagum City in Davao del Norte province at the weekend.

The boy’s classmates said he climbed to reach a bird’s nest, but was not aware that the fence was grounded. Relatives urged the boy’s family to file criminal charges against the school. (Romy Bwaga)
