CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / 12 Jun) – A man, despondent over his mother’s death, committed suicide by jumping from a building in the southern Philippines, police said on Tuesday.
Police said the 32-year old Jerry Tabig jumped to his death from the fourth floor of the Gaisano Mall in Cagayan de Oro City at the weekend.
Relatives told the police that the man had been mourning the recent death of his mother. Police did not say how the man’s mother died. (Romy Bwaga)
